Objectives:

• To motivate students to utilise NDLI for their academic and research needs.
• To notify students about the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) and its vast collection of educational resources.
• To increase the number of library users by creating awareness about NDLI and NDLI clubs benefits.

Outcome:

• Develop and cultivate the student's latent talents and abilities through a variety of diverse resources and activities.
• Improve the academic performance of the students by leveraging NDLI resources for their coursework and research.
• Increase in the registration of users on the NDLI portal for effective utilisation of
  
  NDLI resources.

 G. Venkataswaamy Naidu College Library and NDLI Club conducted a session titled "Empower Your Learning: NDLI Awareness Programme & Student Registration Drive" on 24^th December 2025 at     02:00 p.m. The session was led by Dr.S.Gandhimathi, Librarian, and Mrs P. Krishnaveni, Assistant Professor. Department of Information Technology. The event commenced with a welcoming address, during which the presenters provided a comprehensive overview of the NDLI portal, highlighting its extensive range of resources and detailing how students can effectively leverage these tools for their academic research activities. Additionally, the session included information on the registration process for the GVN NDLI Club, opportunities for participation in various activities, and guidance on how to obtain certificates.

    The Faculty Development Programme ,organized by the IQAC, Library, IIC, and IPR of G.
Venkataswamy Naidu College (Autonomous), Kovilpatti, is designed to enhance the academic, research, and mentoring competencies of faculty members. The programme focuses on strengthening academic and research connect platforms, promoting awareness of intellectual property rights, and fostering innovation and startup culture among educators. Through a series of expert-led sessions, the programme highlights the evolving role of teachers as mentors, encourages innovative thinking, and provides practical insights into proposal writing and startup development. The sessions aim to empower faculty with contemporary knowledge, interdisciplinary perspectives, and professional skills essential for academic excellence, research productivity, and institutional growth.
