G. Venkataswamy Naidu) College, Kovilpatti, has launched free coaching classes for government competitive examinations, providing students with an excellent opportunity to prepare for Central and State Government recruitment exams.
The initiative is jointly organized by the College Library and the Career Guidance Cell with financial support from the Alumni Association. The coaching programme aims to equip students with the knowledge, guidance, and confidence needed to succeed in various competitive government examinations.
The inaugural function was presided over by Principal Dr. A. Pandiarani, while Dr. B.Makesh Kumar, Director of Self-Financing Courses, formally inaugurated the coaching classes.
The highlight of the event was an inspiring session by Mr. Marimuthu, Founder of Thulir IAS Academy, and Mr. Kalidas, Co-founder of the academy. They shared valuable insights into the preparation strategies, opportunities, and career prospects associated with Central and State Government competitive examinations. They also encouraged students to make the best use of the free coaching programme and remain focused on achieving their career goals.
The programme began with a welcome address by Dr.S.Bala, Librarian, and concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr.R.Veeralakshmi, Coordinator of the Quiz Club.
The event was successfully coordinated by Mr. Velmurugan, Coordinator of the Career Guidance Cell, with the support of Librarians Dr.S.Bala and Dr.S.Gandhimathi.
Through this initiative, G.V.N. College reaffirms its commitment to supporting students beyond academics by offering career-oriented training and guidance. The free coaching programme is expected to help aspiring candidates strengthen their preparation and improve their chances of securing government jobs.
